A starting entrepreneur should also read stories of successful entrepreneurs and companies.  The stories not only inspire you, they show you proven paths to success.  Read blogs of businesses you like.  Hang out with entrepreneurs.  Seek out other successful entrepreneurs who have traveled down the road before you and interview them, learn first-hand from them.  Maintain a relationship with a mentor and continue to learn from them and use the best strategies.

Lastly, successful entrepreneurs are calculated risk takers.  Evaluate your risk then take action.
